This model implements the 4 machines, 2 area power system example from the book 'Power System Stability and Control' from P.Kundur [1] using SSN synchronous machines.

The model is typically used to study synchronous machines stability in power systems. In this SSN version, simulation is made in EMT mode and the SSN synchronous machines do not require any parasitic load to ensure stability.

The SSN synchronous machine SI parameters have been obtained from EMTP-RV. The SI units are available for any model containing a synchronous machine in an EMTP-RV output file called MODELNAME_machine.html
