OP7020 Front Interface

The OP7020 interface includes LEDs and various connectors for status, programming and monitoring purposes.

OP7020 front panel

APOWER switch: turns simulator on or off
BUSB PROGRAM: JTAG connection to program the VC707
CSYNCHRO: (LVDS [audio] and Fiber synchronization connectors and LEDs
DSFP sockets with LEDs: connectors for SFP modules

*The color of the LED on power-on depends on the FPGA configuration. If it is a slave configuration, it is orange, if it is a master, it is green.

**Tx and Rx provide synchronization information. When Transmitting synchronization, the Tx LED is green. When receiving synchronization, the Rx LED is green.

SFP LEDs

The LEDs associated with the selected channel light up to indicate the channel is selected. LEDs are arrow-shaped to indicate the channel to which it is associated. LED upward arrow linked to top channel, downward pointing arrow linked to the bottom channel (see below):

OP7020 Rear Interface

The rear interface contains the PCIe connector, which is the only user interface on the back of the chassis. Power connections are factory wired.

AAC power supply on/off switch. Turns AC power supply on or off
BPower cable connector. Connects the AC power supply to the appropriate outlet
CPCIe connector. Connects to the real-time computer
