Channel Description
Each channel converts a standard ±16V voltage coming from a D/A converter of the simulator, into a current source up to 100mA under 16V voltage compliance.
The circuit includes current and thermal protection. Each channel is air-cooled by an optimized SMD heat sink.
The module requires an external power supply of ± 24V@ 0.5A, provided through an external connector, adapted for each Type-E-compatible carrier.
Pin Assignment
Refer to the OP8E00 Modules Pin Assignment table.
Note: Two or more current outputs can be merged at the DB37 output of the carrier on which the module is installed, in order to achieve a higher current range (for example, 2 x 100mA, or 4 x 100mA).
