  • Before making changes to the original example, consider creating a backup copy of the project by copying and pasting the example folder to another directory (such as the Desktop).
  • Open VeriStand and select Open Legacy Project on the Main screen.
  • Browse to the copied example folder and select the Legacy Project (.nivsproj) file from the Project folder.


Note: If using Veristand 2018, it is not necessary to use the Open Legacy Project feature.  Simply navigate to the NI VeriStand Project (.nivsproj) file in Windows Explorer and double-click it to open the project in VeriStand.
